These sounds like a universal kind of love, not limited to two persons in a relationship. If all of us would practice 5 of what is highlighted above, our world would have become a significantly better place to be in.
A relationship tip I’ve read: you are still in love with each other you’ll want to hug each other everyday. If your relationship does not accommodate that desire (even though it is only a humble hug), then it may signify the beginning of the end.
REPLY: Love is an action, you love by choice. Love is not selfish and does not require feelings to be initiated, feelings follow the actions of love.

I am trying to reconnect with a Daughter I had to give up for adoption.
We have met and there is no problem there. I am trying to be a friend
because even though I am her biological mother. She had a mother that raised her for 40 years. I am not trying to take her place but can’t remove myself as her mother either. I am having a difficult time trying to become her friend. Can you give me some tips on how to become her friend and not a mother? I hope you can give me some advise how. Thank you
Answer: Love looks to meet the needs of others, so just love without strings or expectations.
