The best wedding cakes also come with your choice of fillings which include; Chocolate Ganache, Raspberry, Strawberry, Whipped Cream, Cookies & Cream (Oreos and buttercream), Vanilla Cream, Cream Cheese, Chocolate Buttercream, Pineapple, and Plain Buttercream, (Buttercream can be tinted with you choice of color). |

Specialty Wedding Cakes need to be ordered in advance as there are other weddings occurring all the time. Kristen, from Kristin's Konfections, (in the Alexandria, Louisiana area only), says she needs at least 3 weeks advance notice. However, since your wedding day is a very significant day in your life it is suggested that you inquire much earlier. She recommends scheduling a tasting and consultation as far in advance as possible to ensure the date of your wedding is available. | |

Each wedding cake is personalized with the tastes of the bride and groom. If you have a picture of a cake you like, you can share it with them to specialize your wedding cake. The cake shape is up to you as well; Round, square, or octagonal. Design elements include, but aren’t limited to: Butter cream basket weave, swiss dots, sugar flowers, lace work, sugar paste ribbons and bows. Colors are up to you anything from classic white, to hot pink! | |

No, this is not a wedding cake, however I personally found it to be my favorite of the great cakes I seen. The special wedding cakes start at $3.00 per serving for Round buttercream cakes and $4.00 per serving for Round rolled fondant. Prices range up to $9.00 per serving depending on detail work and design of the wedding cakes. Make sure you check out the wedding cakes design gallery! |
Please note that all special wedding cake orders are scheduled by appointment only, (in a 50 mile radius of the Alexandria, Louisiana area), and according to Kristin they are creative enough to make about any idea come to life, including making me one in the shape of a Taco! If they can make a Marlin, I am sure they can make your super wedding cake dreams come true! Yes it is really a cake, and a great one at that! |
