Making The Most Of Your Love Opportunities
No matter what I say or what I do, I am bankrupt without love.

I hope that today you figure this out, that life is
all about relationships, it's not about accomplishments.
In fact the bible says that the life is worthless, listen
worthless, without love.
Since that's true here's my question;
Why then do we allow relationships to get the short end
of the stick? Have you ever thought about that?
If love validates my faith and it integrates my life and
it compensates for the sin, and it reverberates forever,
and it's the only thing that really matters that is going
to last. Why do my relationships get the short end of the
stick? You know my time and my attention?
The answer is we get busy. We get busy and we forget that
the best use of life is love. We forget this truth, the
best use of life is love. We get distracted, we get preoccupied
to less important issues. And when we get overloaded and
when we get hurried, we start doing what I call relational
skimming.
Relational skimming means I'm really busy this week, so I
don't have time for relationships. Bad decision. Because the
relationships are all that's going to matter. When we get
busy we start relationally skimming. We start focusing on
what's urgent, not important. Getting our work done, paying
the bills, making progress and reaching goals. When all of
that, honestly, is temporary. The bills your worried about
paying right now you won't be thinking about in five years.
But the relationships will still matter. And there going to
matter in eternity.
Nothing can take the place of loving relationships, not success,
not salary, not status, not power, not wealth. And when you
get to heaven God is not going to say to you, tell me about
your career, and He's not going to say, tell me how much money
you have in your bank account. And He's not going to tell me
what was your hobby. And He's not going to tell me what were
your sports achievements. He's not going to say tell me what
you accomplished, He's going to say this;

TELL ME ABOUT HOW YOU TREATED OTHER PEOPLE...
DID YOU LEARN TO LOVE ME AND DID YOU LEARN TO LOVE OTHER PEOPLE?
